I am one of those millions of people who haven't had experienced formal valentine dating. I've never tried dating ever since. Just because it's valentines, and we don't have a parter doesn't mean we can not it. We could celebrate valentines with our loved once. Either with our relatives, friends or significant others.

Why worry on a dateless Valentine’s day? It’s not just for couples after all. Use it as an opportunity to tell everyone that you love how much you love them. Your family, friends and even office mates. Why not do something like little notes or do little stuffs or somethings and tell them you love them and may they always be happy :) especially today! You can also treat yourself for something that you really wanted to buy for the past months or maybe some relaxation treats like a massage or a spa. Stay away from activities that will require a companion such as watching movies and the like. Instead, have time preparing something for your family to spend the day together. Why not rent a dvd and prepare a good meal for the family to share. Or maybe you can call a dateless friend to spend some bonding moment. It's not always sad to spend valentines day without a lover. Instead of being sad, why not look at the bigger picture, more people needs to feel love and you can share yours..

Valentines day is a day where people celebrate LOVE its not a day that is celebrated every year for LOVERS exclusively. I always dread this day before because I don't have my special someone to spend it with because of certain situations. But I still make it to a point that Im celebrating this day with my loved ones like family, friends, and especially with God. Im not being defensive about being dateless on valentines its just that having a stereotype that you have to spend it with a boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife and so on is not healthy for a person for this will just make you feel inferior and might lose your confidence. Be bold be different and don't go with the usual activities during that special day Im sure anyone single, married or whatever relationship status they may have in life could make that day a very special day in their own special way.

Valentine's day, well I love it! I guess everybody love's to celebrate it. It's not just for lovers but for everybody who knows how to love. It's the best time to show to our family and/or to our friends that they are meant to us. I remember the time when I and my husband had misunderstanding during Valentine's. I thought it could be the worst Valentine's ever because I would have nobody to spend my Valentine's Day with. But then a friend arrived and she too had no one to spend that day with. So we went together to one place where you can see most of the people there were lovers and on the other side we saw a group of teenagers who could possibly be just a peer and in the front of us we're a family laughing and talking together. It came to my mind that Valentine's is for everyone. And it is worth celebrating with the people who are meant to you, not just the lover you expect to be loyal, it can be also a family who accepts you of what you are or with your friends who sticks with you through your ups and downs.

I consider myself as dateless every 14th of February. I don’t think it’s boring or sad. For me, activities are always there every day but the difference is, it becomes special on that day. You can go swimming, go shopping, go watch movies or celebrate that event yourself. No one said when you’re dateless, you have no right to consider Valentine’s Day as special. You shouldn’t feel bad because in this day, society also pays respect for the singles. The society won’t be insensitive enough to make singles out of place on this day. Some organizations or establishments especially in schools or universities, they set activities like speed dating where you can meet anyone which may possibly be your lover someday or blind dates where you can also have a date without even asking. There are loads of stuff also offered for singles. It may be romantic for couples but it would not be impossible for singles to meet their lovers and be couples some day.
