I wish there were more alternatives on how to handle mosquitoes. With the rate of dengue escalating and its incidence not limited to a particular time of the year, people need to be more aware. Dengue has caused peoples’ lives and often left their loved ones without much clue. As I would definitely agree that prevention is the best approach, it will still be of benefit to know other possible measures. There are times when you don’t quite realize you have a breeding space for them in your home, like if you have a garden and insecticides can be hazardous to health, especially of children. buying mosquito predators as pets may also help, like; guppies, birds, or if you’re up o it, a bat. I guess, for places where such incidence of dengue prevails, a mass action will be required (like fumigation, perhaps). On an individual scale, the use of insect repellant products may help. Those may only be the best alternative available on hand.
