My daughter and my husband both hate spiders, and we’ve had several occasions of that, “there’s a spider in the bathroom”…I often forget that they actually help rid of the more undesirable insects, and tend to dislike them. As most house spiders are harmless, there are those who stings and can lead to encephalitis. Now, I am not sure if all those spiders have no interest of creeping from your lawn to the shower. The blog is after all referring to shower spiders. But we’ve had a probably rare moment with such a case. A poisonous spider from the outdoor managed its way to or home bath. I think it will be helpful too if you can give other measures. Cleaning up of course is always the best way to go. Opening up the house to light and air gives more life to a house too; but even a clean hose can get bugs sometimes and every now and then.
