Aphids are very tiny bugs that feed on your precious rose petals or plant leaves. These are not always easy to see, especially from a distance, because they generally have brown or green colors. These little critters have needle-like mouth part, which they use to suck the inner sap of the plant. Contrary to what some people think, aphids are not the ones that chew leaves.
How to prevent aphids from infesting your house plants
When you thinking about what plant to cultivate, pick those that are not the common favorites of aphids. It is also recommended for you not to put too much fertilizer on your plant. It is important that once you see a sign of aphid, isolate the infected plant so it will not spread to other plants.
How to save aphid-infested house plants
You should always inspect your house plants for aphids and other insect infestations. Once you found an infected one, you have to isolate it and then spray the infected part with soap diluted in water. After doing this, you have to spray that same part with clear water. For delicate plants, you can dip it in water to remove the aphids. But if you think this is not enough, you can resort to using pesticide.
